Associated Bank snatches BMO’s top talent, banking revolution lies ahead.

Green Bay-based Associated Bank has announced the appointment of Steven Zandpour as executive vice president and director of retail banking. Formerly the U.S. head of specialty sales at BMO, Zandpour will be based in Milwaukee and will focus on consumer and small business growth across Associated’s major metro markets. He will also lead the bank’s branch network, contact centers, and other sales and service channels. The appointment is part of Associated Bank’s strategic plan to accelerate growth. Previously, the bank hired Neil Riegelman as senior vice president and commercial banking segment leader, Jayne Hladio as president of private wealth, and Phillip Trier as executive vice president and commercial banking leader.
