Lynne Biggio Herndon has been appointed as the new Chief Credit Officer of Western Alliance Bank. As Chief Credit Officer, Herndon will chair the Bank’s Senior Loan Committee and oversee its credit administration function. She brings more than 30 years of experience to her new role, having held senior credit positions at Regions Bank and BBVA USA, and most recently served as West Region Commercial Credit Executive at PNC Bank. Herndon is a Certified Public Accountant and holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Alabama.

Herndon’s appointment completes the organizational changes announced by Western Alliance Bank in 2022. Tim Bruckner, previously the Chief Credit Officer, will assume his new role as Chief Banking Officer for Regional Banking while Steve Curley will become Chief Banking Officer for National Business Lines. The bank’s President and CEO, Ken Vecchione, thanked Bruckner for his service as CCO, noting his instrumental role in maintaining the bank’s industry leading asset quality.

Western Alliance Bank, the primary subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, has more than $70 billion in assets and offers tailored commercial banking solutions and consumer products through offices in key markets across the US.
