SAU appoints Dr. Lynda Batiste: Finance and COO superstar

Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) has appointed Dr. Lynda Batiste as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she will oversee the college’s fiscal affairs, facilities, human resources, security, and information technology. Dr. Batiste brings extensive expertise in finance, accreditation, and higher education administration to SAU. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education and a Master of Professional Accountancy. Prior to joining SAU, she held administrative positions at Lemoyne Owen College and Alabama A&M University. Dr. Batiste is knowledgeable about the accreditation process and has served on various reaffirmation committees. Her appointment is part of SAU’s efforts to achieve financial stability and accreditation excellence.
