In the stock market news on March 21, 2024, Sebi assured the Bombay High Court of refraining from taking any action against Subhash Chandra, the chairman of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, for three weeks in connection with an alleged fund diversion case. Chandra had petitioned the court claiming that the language of the summons issued by Sebi implied that the allegations were already proven and requested the court to declare the summons unlawful. In a separate development, Wipro announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Rowland as the new CEO of Capco, a consulting firm acquired by Wipro in 2021.

Moreover, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals secured an order for a solar water pumping system under the PM-KUSUM scheme in Haryana, while pharmaceutical company Wockhardt initiated a Qualified Institutional Placement to raise funds. TVS Motor announced plans to distribute non-convertible redeemable preference shares, and PB Fintech established a fully-owned subsidiary dedicated to the payment aggregator business.
